THE BIGGEST LOSER RUN / WALK

Join EBC’s Be-U-tiful Girls, Health Ministries, & Run Club for: The Biggest Loser Run/Walk at Six Flags America- 5K/10K/Kids 1 Mile Fun Run on September 28th.

NOTE:  There will be a Run/Walk Training Session & Weigh-In Opportunity Sunday, July 27th, at 9:30 a.m., the Fellowship Hall.  Additional dates for training sessions to follow! The Final weigh-in will take place on September 28th.

HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR OTHERS THIS SUMMER!

Youth Ministries and Community Services have teamed up to do a Summer Clothing Drive, starting  June 14th, through the month of July, for Central Union Mission. Collection boxes will be located in the church lobby (upstairs & downstairs). Items to donate include new or gently used shirts, shorts, pants, dresses, jeans and shoes for men, women, and children. CHAPEL SERVICE AT CENTRAL UNION MISSION HOMELESS SHELTER

SUMMER MISSION — You won’t want to miss soloist Jeanene Medley as she provides music ministry on Monday, July 28th at Central Union Mission (65 Massachusetts Ave., Washington, DC, 20001). The worship service begins at 7:00 p.m. and Pastor Anthony Medley will deliver the devotional message. Come and be blessed by wonderful music and a compelling devotional message. Your presence will be an encouragement to the homeless. FMI, contact Elder Carlos Medley at 301-236-0093.

G. E. PETERS ADVENTIST SCHOOL REGISTRATION

George E. Peters is currently enrolling grades Kindergarten through 8th until August 1st.  They proudly announce their very own school bus system and will provide transportation for students in the upcoming 2014-2015 school year. Parents are strongly urged to register as soon as possible due to limited spacing.
